Learn about rail safety
To further the public’s knowledge of safety and the railroads, including highway-rail safety, Tacoma Rail works in conjunction with Operation Lifesaver, an international nonprofit education and awareness program dedicated to ending collisions, fatalities and injuries at highway-rail grade crossings and on railroad rights of way. Tacoma Rail also incorporates programs that teach rail safety in local schools.
